Some Cool Name wins season 8 cal-main playoffs with a championship victory over Vendetta on de_cpl_mill. Some Cool Name coming from the #7 seed in the playoffs surprised a lot of people. Vendetta was the #5 seed.
For those who don't know, this victory was a victory of all of cal-main due to the way the playoffs were set up for season 8. For season 8, all divisions(atlantic, central, pacific) were placed into the same playoff bracket to determine an overall cal-main winner. Both teams in the championship were from the central, making for a pretty inpressive showing from the central division.
